Summer Programs
Dear Parents,
It is time to register for the 31st RBCS Summer Programs, which include Summer Day Camp (SDC), Kinder Knights (KK) and Specialized Weekly Camps. The Summer Day Camp and the Kinder Knights will be six weeks from June 21st - July 30th during the hours 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
RBCS Summer Day Camp: is for ages 5 to 13. The camp maintains an experienced, professionally trained and certified staff with a better than 15 to 1 camper to adult staff ratio. Campers can be enrolled for the full summer, on a multiple week basis, by the half day on a weekly basis, or by the day (if space available). Our caring staff will provide a high-quality, Christ-centered SDC program to include: Swimming Lessons, Daily Bible Lessons, Bowling, Goofy Golf, Recreational Swimming, Roller Skating, Sports, the Track, Weekly Field Trips and much more! Each child should bring a towel, swim wear, SPF-15 sunscreen and tennis shoes in a carry-all bag. Please mark ALL clothing with your child's name or initials.
Kinder Knights: a summer Pre-school educational program with some field trips is available for 3-5 year olds. KK students can be enrolled for the full summer, on a multiple week basis, by the half day on a weekly basis, or by the day (if space available).
Specialized Weekly Camps: are for ages 7 to 12th grade depending on the camp. The specialized classes are an excellent opportunity for children to play sports, music, learn computers, chess, pottery, scrap booking, to prep for SAT/PSAT, to enjoy science activities or to complete High School science lab requirements.
Financial Information: Camps may be paid for weekly with payment due the Monday before the camp date.
Day Camp (DC) is $105 a week; $28 per day; or half day - $60 per week
Kinder Knights is $110 a week; $28 per day; or half day - $60 per week
Specialized Camps range from $60 to $90 a week.
Late fee: $10
Transportation: Bus pick-up and drop-off at pre-determined bus stops will be provided. Bus service in the summer depends on the efficient use of centralized pick-up points. The cost for transportation is $25 per week for the first child, $19 per week for the second child and $14 per week for each additional child. Your child's bus driver will contact you concerning bus stops and times. Please communicate with the office (729-7227 ext 241, after Jun 20, ext 273) concerning any changes in your schedule.
Lunch Supplies: Each child attending a full day program should bring a sack lunch and drink daily. Water is offered frequently, and soda, juice, and snacks are available for purchase.
