InfoDirect(TM) is a feature designed to help parents connect to school through a secure internet connection. Parents are able to check lunch menus, download homework assignments, and check grades.
The mission of the University Technology Partnership is to develop classroom integration concepts, technology curriculum, training for professional educators, and a standard of instructional methods that will instill confidence, independence, and enthusiasm in students and faculty to meet new challenges.
Students in K5 through 8th grade have weekly technology training. Each class does a quarterly project that integrates an assignment they are working on in their classes. 7th through 12th grade students work on projects for their Bible, Science, History, and Language Arts courses.
Students in 9th through 12th work on shortened integrated projects in each of the four subjects. These projects increase the students’ technology skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. Through a generous donation from Microsoft, we were able to update all the student computers to Microsoft Office 2007 this year.
