"Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." (Ephesians 6:4)
We are commanded by scripture to raise up our children in the knowledge of God and of his works. That command, though, is accompanied by a promise that if we do so, our children will follow that path as they grow into adulthood (Proverbs 22:6). It is the desire of the Elementary Bible program to build a Biblical foundation upon which a faithful Christian life can be built. Thus, students are taught the rudiments of faith and the Bible and regularly pointed to Christ as the source of meaning for life. Upon this foundation, others will build.
