Dear RBCS Parent,
I am Brenda DeYoung, the president of Rocky Bayou Christian School's Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) for the 2011-2012 school year. I am the mother of two boys, and I have been a parent volunteer and part of the PTF at their schools for a total of nine years. I am very excited about leading the RBCS PTF. I would like to encourage everyone interested to join us and help us with events that are scheduled throughout the year. We need a multitude of volunteers for the various committees for which we will be responsible. We are a very productive and fun group, and we would love for you to join us in our fun.

While the RBCS PTF continues to focus on prayer, service, and communication, the main focus of PTF is for all three service committees - teacher evaluation, facilities, and communications -to be filled with ea¬ger volunteers. This year we will extend our service to welcoming new families into RBCS. Our Home Room Moms network program is vital to directly helping our teachers while providing a link between the parents and teachers.

I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know each of you as we work together in the upcoming year. Working together, we will be an important part of making RBCS the best it can be! The best way to learn about RBCS and get to know the parents is to come and be a part of PTF. We would love to have you as a part of our team.
