The Fine Arts program at Rocky Bayou Christian School (RBCS) offers a well rounded and comprehensive program in music, art, and drama. Our Fine Arts department richly enhances our already outstanding academic education. RBCS strongly believes that every talent God gives needs to be found, used, and perfected for the glory of God. RBCS gives students the opportunity to excel in all areas of academics, fine arts and sports.
Under the direction of choral director Thomas Hood, RBCS offers Music Theory, Drama, and four choirs which include Beginning Choir, Jr. High Choir, Concert Choir, and Chamber Choir.
RBCS band director, Kristy Dubuisson, offers Beginning Band to students as young as 5th grade. Returning students can move on to Concert Band and then to Symphonic Band depending on their level of playing ability. RBCS band students also have the opportunity to join two other band groups: RBCS Jazz Band and the RBCS Marching Knights.
Art Teacher, David Williams, strives to encourage creativity and promote a sense of excellence as his students draw, paint, and mold works of amazing works of art.
