Please allow me to take this opportunity to welcome you and your student to Special Services. We hope that your experience here at RBCS will be rewarding both spiritually and academically. Our goal is for all children, especially the ones with learning differences and/or special needs, to be given the opportunity to successfully reach their God-given potential. Special Services School provides academic programs for K-12th, incorporating teaching strategies for all learning styles.

Talent Development, grades K-6th, was started in 1982. It acknowledged that all students do not learn alike and may require more individualized instruction. We currently have six classrooms and students are placed according to abilities and needs rather than by grade. Each classroom uses diversified teaching strategies to teach up to three levels of academic instruction per subject. Students are challenged to achieve grade-level in deficit areas and possibly excel beyond utilizing their strengths.

Track Three, originated in 1997, is the Academy Track for grades 7th-12th. It is a regular academic program which provides teaching methods training those who learn differently utilizing their own learning styles. Track Three consist of ten classrooms with small student/teacher ratio. Students are placed in the least restricted environment according to their God-given potential. Several diploma options are available and many of our students attain college scholarships.

My heart desire is to provide an educational environment where all students can grow spiritually and academically. Our population includes learning disabilities/differences, autism, Aspergers, Down's syndrome, Tourette’s syndrome, and cognitive challenges. We challenge and equip each student, regardless of cognitive abilities or learning deficits to be over-comers for Christ.

In Christ's service,

Mrs. Toby Ann K. Williams
