Rocky Bayou Christian Academy is pleased to announce that
the Varsity Academic Team
placed
1st in the Florida
Association of Christian Colleges and Schools
Annual State Brain Bowl Academic
Competition in Orlando on February 21 &
22. Senior Steven Griffith (captain), led the team
made up of juniors Abby Chapman, Sarah Frasier, Gary
Frey and Noah Mosley. Noah won 1st
place in the state for individual toss ups answered in the
two day competition while Sarah won 1st
place for toss ups answered in the finalist round on day
two. Austin Denigan, junior varsity team captain, led
the team, made up of juniors Josh Allen, Chris Hinson
and Shannon Mosley and sophomores Daniel Bowers
and Emily Wilson, which placed 7th
in the state while competing against varsity teams.
